Chef/Restauranteur/Philanthropist Ebony Austin is owner of Nouveau Bar & Grill and owner of Nouveau Creations, a line of stone-ground grits that comes in three flavors: Original, Garlic & Herb and Jalapeno & Cheddar. Her restaurant is notoriously known for their Ultimate Cajun Seafood and Grits dish. Consisting of chargrilled shrimp, salmon and crab meat served over stone ground grits and topped over cajun cream sauce. This year, she won the "Community Leadership" award at the Bar & Restaurant Expo, as she has partnered with U.S. Foods to provide 18-wheeler trucks filled with vegetables and necessities for families facing food insecurity at both Howard University and Morehouse College. She also partnered with Food Lion to create a Farmer’s Market event for students at Fort Valley State.
