The Mobile Chef of Atlanta was founded in 2006 by Biff L. Smith. Biff is a native Georgian who learned about cooking barbecue as a child, while watching his grandfather and uncles prepare BBQ for the family at the family reunions. Biff took an interest in cooking and started to create his own style of barbecuing different types of meat on his own at the age of 12. He studied four major styles of American barbecue; Texas, Memphis, Kansas City, and Carolina. His plan was to introduce people to a combination of styles that complemented each other for a real barbecue taste that entailed high-quality meats properly cooked and smoked over an appropriate length of time. Mobile Chef of Atlanta is a mobile facility; he can come to you and cook whatever your taste buds desired. Biff has catered for thousands including The Accounts Receivable department of Sprint Wireless, family & class reunions and weddings. Biff placed an emphasis on featuring food that is southern style and a taste that is so homemade that you know it has been prepared by a family member with love.
