In 2008 Ashley Carlton moved from Indianapolis, IN to Atlanta to start his gourmet cookie shop. Once he arrived and started getting buzz around town for his gourmet cookies he decided to open a cookie shop. The timing was wrong and the mortgage collapse had just began. Ashley would stop his dream and go on to work in corporate America for a few years in hopes to save up to start his shop. During his time in corporate America, Ashley would meet many small business owners which lit a fire up under him to get out and go for it all. He never lost the goal and shortly began doing pop-up stores around town. Food trucks started to become popular and Ashley decided this was going to be the way to get his cookies to the masses. Not As Famous Cookie Company started as a bakery on wheels in 2015 traveling all over metro Atlanta servings our handcrafted cookies, artisan cookie sandwiches and hand spun shakes. After years of catering to our cookie fans around metro Atlanta, we decided to build our gourmet bake shop in 2020. The first gourmet cookie shop opened in January 2021. We have since expanded to a second cookie truck to handle more of our catering / booking demands.
