Each year, Atlanta Food & Wine Festival walks back into our lives to proudly remind every one of us why this great city is a hub of culinary innovation and cultural greatness.  

Our festival lineup and food themes for our chefs were designed to deliver a high-energy celebration of Atlanta through the food, drinks, and the community that bring the city to life.

Take a glimpse into the “why” that built our exciting 2026 program themes:

THURSDAY: THE ATLANTA STANDARD

Thursday kicks off the entire festival weekend. Our opening night serves as a welcoming party and this year we have something big to celebrate: Atlanta Food & Wine Festival presented by Invesco QQQ (AFWF) turns 16!  

We’re bringing the celebration, and we’re curating the vibes for the coming days by highlighting the best of the best restaurants, chefs, and dishes that make Atlanta, Atlanta.  

FRIDAY: FLAVORS OF ATLANTA

The Flavors of Atlanta is our opportunity to showcase the city’s diverse culinary scene.  

Inspired by the iconic Buford highway, a local hub of cultural cuisine, we’re planning to replicate ATL’s melting pot of international flavors and dynamic experiences right in the heart of the Home Depot Backyard.  

SATURDAY: THE SOUTHERN SPREAD

Atlanta may be a bustling metropolitan hub, but the city has perfected comfort food. These traditional southern staples help maintain the city’s hometown warmth and southern charm, and we’re setting the table for all our guests to take a bite of the spread.  

This theme is our way of honoring Atlanta’s diverse cultural heritage while also acknowledging its important contributions to uniquely American cuisine.  

SUNDAY: THE HOMECOMING

Our Sunday homecoming is your formal invitation to the cookout. It’s a block party, an impromptu hangout, and a weekend tailgate wrapped into one.  

We’re bringing out the grills for some smoky flavors for a classic summer party that only Atlanta knows how to throw.
